1. If you have a complaint about the general running of basketball in Suffolk you can complain in writing to Suffolk Basketball. The current officers and their contact details are listed on the website: www.SuffolkBasketball.net 2. If your complaint relates to a specific incident in a Suffolk Basketball competition you must follow the procedure laid down in the Competition Rules (Item 10 Discipline). For all other complaints contact the Association within five days of the incident taking place. 3. Receipt of your complaint will be acknowledged, wherever possible, within five working days. (However, as a voluntary organization you must make allowances for holidays when directing mail to home addresses.) 4. Your complaint will then be reviewed by the executive committee of the Suffolk Basketball. If necessary you may be asked to provide further details or clarification. 5. Should the matter require in-depth investigation, an independent group will be appointed to examine your complaint and the circumstances surrounding it. 6. Should any investigation incur expense you will be held liable for these costs in the event that your complaint is not upheld. 7. If your complaint can be dealt with by the executive committee, you should expect a written response within 14 working days of receipt of your complaint. 8. If your complaint needs to be referred to a full committee meeting or require detailed investigation you will be advised of this and should expect a written response in 14 days. 9. If you are dissatisfied with the way in which your complaint is handled you may appeal to The Eastern Region Management Committee of England Basketball.
