Week 4 saw new leaders in both divisions of the Suffolk Senior League. Cougars had back to back wins in Division 1 to push them ahead of Sledgehammers while Cannons took over from Kings in Division 2.

Reigning champions Bulldogs suffered their second successive defeat, going down at home to Cougars. The visitors began strongly with a 14-2 run as Adam Bell hit 8 personal. Bulldogs narrowed the gap a little in the second with Billy Smith and Christian Lyne combining for 14. A 14-6 run from Cougars at the start of the third put them back in control with Phil Green having a strong quarter. With 8 players getting on the scoresheet and 4 finishing in double figures, Cougars look to have  strength in depth and went onto win by 20.
 
At home to Lasers, Cougars dictated the pace in the first quarter and were up by 18 as Lasers only managed 3 field goals. The second quarter was a little more even but Lasers could not narrow the gap enough and with Adam Bell and Michael Holbrook combining for 25, Cougars were more than 20 ahead at the break. In the second half Cougars ran their bench and with the whole squad finishing on the sheet, they won by 24.
 
Leiston Lynx have had a tough introduction to league basketball particularly with injuries and they could only field a squad of 8 for their home game against Cannons. The visitors had just the better of the opening quarter but when Lynx could only hit 2 field goals in the second, Cannons took full advantage and opened up a 20-point gap with James Robertson and Al Joseph hitting 12 between them. Lynx hit back in the third and narrowed the gap a little but their shooting again let them down in the final quarter as they again managed just 2 field goals allowing Cannons to pull away to win by more than 20.
